Medical oncology as a medical field and super speciality is relatively young, but Jaslok Hospital took a bold step in the right direction to be one of the first non -governmental hospitals to set up a separate and dedicated department for medical oncology. It all started 35 years ago. The department was set up by two present day stalwarts of oncology in India - Dr. Suresh Advani and Dr. Boman N. Dhabhar. With medical expertise, dedication & state-of-the-art technology, all under one roof, and today the hospital is recognized as one of the best cancer centres in India.
